Kilbride Hospice is located in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, and exists to provide care and support to those affected by life-limiting illnesses. The hospice is open and currently offers support through its Day Services, Drop-in Centre and Care at Home, where anyone affected by a life-limiting illness, including friends, family and carers can speak to our trained volunteers or healthcare professional. Kilbryde Hospice has a 12 bed in-patient unit, and as part of their phased approach, they plan to have this service running by summer 2016.
Our Contribution
Jim McColl, an Honorary Lifetime President of Kilbride Hospice, and Clyde Blowers Capital have made regular donations over a period of around 4 years. The significant cornerstone donations were directed towards the general building and running of the hospice. At the moment, Kilbryde Hospice relies solely on the generosity of public donations and fundraising to provide the essential funds required to continue providing services to the people of Lanarkshire.
